Kids Corner is our way of teaching the next generations the importance and benefits of enjoying the outdoors. Whether it be camping in the north woods, going on their first youth hunt or taking a Hunters Safety coarse, kids need to continue our great sporting heritage.
Too many of today’s youth rely on video games and television to entertain them. They miss out on one of the greatest creations of all, Nature. The more we as parents involve them in the outdoors, the better chance our love of nature will live on for many generations. Not only from a conservation level, but from an emotional level as well. Nothing beats the beauty and solitude when a person steps out of the daily rat race and into nature’s purity.
So if you really enjoy what the outdoors has to offer, take a kid with you on your next venture. Teach a child that the simple things in life sometimes matter the most.
