Delavan (August 19, 2014) – This week’s new episode of SportingDog Adventures takes viewers back to Ennis, Montana, for the long-awaited conclusion of Episode 6’s mule deer hunt, as well as footage of fly fishing on the world-famous Madison River, plus a surprise ending to the mule deer/ elk hunt.

“Everyone who hunts and fishes encounters challenging weather from time to time. But on this cast n’ blast, we had some weather that was just plain weird,” says Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer of SportingDog Adventures. “We had rain and really cold temps on the fly fishing excursion, but then we had temps 30 degrees above average on the deer/ elk hunt, which drove the animals back up into the mountains.”

Guided by John Way of Montana Way Outfitters and The Tackle Shop, the Crew hunted public land, and didn’t come away empty-handed. “We had to change our approach on this hunt several times, but with good guiding, we proved that the animals can be found –and taken- on Montana’s bountiful mountains. It turned out to be a really fun and productive hunt, and the kids really got a kick out of the area’s cool mining heritage.”
