Delavan (July 8, 2015) – This week’s new episode of SportingDog Adventures follows the crew as they field a team to take down wily roosters in northwestern Kansas at the Kansas Governor’s Ringneck Classic, an event that spans four days every year in November.

The SportingDog Team –comprised of Jeff Fuller, his sons Clayton and Cole, and Andy McDaniel of the NWF – were thrilled to be a part of this time-honored event. Even more delighted were the Labrador Retrievers of Soggy Acres Retrievers that led the charge, flushing roosters for four days. “Some people are surprised to learn that Kansas is amongst the top three places to harvest pheasants in the U.S.,” says Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer of SportingDog Adventures. “But once you’re here, the surprise turns to pure joy in the field as every acre you walk seems to rain roosters.”

With over 300,000 acres of walk-in hunting and every kind of quary imaginable, Kansas is the ideal destination for the hunter looking to experience something new, or, experience it all. “Educating the public is obviously a huge part of our mission at the National Wildlife Federation,” says NWF representative Andy McDaniel. “Part of that, is getting the word out about great destinations with sustainable hunting, like the State of Kansas.” Check out http://www.travelks.com/things-to-do/sports-and-rec/hunting/ or http://www.kansasringneckclassic.com/ for more information on the hunter-friendly State of Kansas.
