Delavan (July 29, 2014) – This week’s new episode of SportingDog Adventures takes us back to Louisiana for more great teal footage plus a lot of local flavor!

In addition to more great teal footage and retrieves, the SportingDog crew wanted to add more to the episode about the area’s ecosystems and heritage. “We included segments in this episode that highlight property management, which in this area, takes on an entirely different meaning than in other areas of the U.S., “ says Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer. “In our last Louisiana episode, we wanted to highlight the loss of land in the delta and the efforts of conservation groups such as Vanishing Paradise. In this episode, we show you what the locals are doing themselves to preserve their land and fight invasive species.”

The latest episode also pays homage to a fallen great in the waterfowl world, Eli Haydel, founder of Haydel’s Game Calls, who passed on November 25, 2013. “We have been fortunate to befriend the Haydel family over our years in the waterfowl industry,” says Kate Fuller, wife of Jeff Fuller and member of the SportingDog Crew. “They are kind, funny, down-to-earth people. Eli Haydel revolutionized the waterfowl industry with the launch of their calls that could ‘blow wet.’ His sons Rod and Kelly are continuing their father’s legacy of creating champion calls and sharing their love of calling with the next generation, but Eli will always be missed.”
