Delavan (August 20, 2015) – This week on SportingDog Adventures, big game action dominates, as the crew mixes things up with a mule deer hunt in Hinsdale, Montana, and a classic Whitetail hunt in their home state of Wisconsin.
“While we are known on the show for our waterfowl and upland action, we like to show the versatility of the sportingdog,” says host Jeff Fuller. “This week’s show features big game hunts, which we tie back to the dogs by featuring a segment on shed hunting. Shed hunting is taking off in popularity so it’s a topic we definitely want to cover for our fans!”
With the help of Milk River Outfitters, Fuller and fellow SportingDog crew member Kevin Turner hit the hills of northeast Montana on a quest to get Turner a trophy muley. They see many deer, pass on a few, and have some serious misfortune on some true wallhangers. But Montana doesn’t disappoint them for long, with Turner coming home with a truly quality animal.
