Delavan (July 20, 2015) – Forget about shooting singles, this week’s episode of SportingDog Adventures has more duck and goose action than you ever thought possible, thanks to the friendly skies of Saskatchewan, Canada.
With friends from the MobileStrong company, Jeff Fuller and his dog Pickett rake in the birds in every field they hit, including a few they didn’t plan to hunt. “We did some scouting in advance as usual, and there were fields with literally 10,000 geese,” says Fuller, Host and Executive Producer of the show. “We didn’t have to scout very hard, and the shooting the next day was easy. On our way back, we actually stopped at a few other places on the property and did a few impromptu hunts, and even with a make-shift set-up, we still were successful! You just can’t go wrong in this area.”
In addition to lots of great shooting, the episode lends itself nicely to some great dog work, with the dogs showing off some lengthy blind retrieves. Additional features for the outdoor enthusiast include a special segment on Cabela’s “Disconnect Day,” a special program the company instituted to encourage everyone to power down their electronics and get outdoors. Don’t miss all the bird action on this week’s episode!
