Delavan (June 23, 2017) – SportingDog Adventures is taking to the wetlands of Central Wisconsin for some whitetail action in this week’s new episode!
This week’s episode showcases the versatility of the Labrador Retriever as Jeff Fuller and his family head out to the new Soggy Acres Signature Lodge in Central Wisconsin for some whitetail hunting. Prefacing the hunt is some scouting and shed hunting the family does in the off-season with seasoned veteran Soggy Acres Desert Fox “Rommel.” “At nearly 12 years old, Rommel’s days of hardcore waterfowling are wrapping up, but he excels at shed hunting – and we love it as it clues us in to what kind of genetics we’re going to be seeing on the property come fall,” says Jeff Fuller, host and executive producer.”
On the hunt, Cole Fuller, middle son of the Fuller family, hits a nice-sized 12-point, and it’s up to Soggy Acres Lucy Belle to find the deer after dark. “This was our first deer hunt at the new Soggy Acres Signature Lodge,” says Jeff Fuller. “We knew there were good sized whitetails on it when we bought the property, but we had no idea if we’d get one on our first trip out and we didn’t know the lay of the land that well having only owned it a few months.” Find out if Jeff also scores a big buck on the new property during his hunt, and watch Lucy show off her deer tracking skills on this week’s new episode.
