Delavan (September 2, 2014) – This week’s new episode of SportingDog Adventures showcases the shooting talents of the Crew’s youth as they take pheasant in South Dakota and ducks in Wisconsin.
“We make a concerted effort to include youth as much as possible on our shows,” says Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer. “We all know that if we don’t engage the interest of the next generation, that the sport of hunting will flounder. We like to show our kids out there in the field having fun and doing their best for the purpose of inspiring other kids. We want them to think, ‘Hey, I could do that.’”
Of course, it didn’t hurt to take the new shooters to South Dakota either, the “Pheasant Capital of the World.” “It doesn’t hurt to pick a location flush with quarry when you’re hunting with kids. Having lots of opportunities to shoot boosts their confidence – and it certainly makes the experience more enjoyable for the adults along too!”
Don’t miss the kids in action and all the great retrieves too. Check out a preview of the episode here: https://vimeo.com/105568323.
